Gozo temple pellet bowl

A unique vanilla bowl with turquoise detail. Inspired by my Maltese trip looking at the Neolithic temple traditions, based on the "pellets " pottery used in rituals in these sacred spaces, re-imagined with the use of my imagination and creativity.

Measures 20cm diameter, a circular bullseye sheet of vanilla glass with recycled turquoise blue glass cabachons applied in a regular pattern. The broken edge symbolises imperfection, resilience, and transformation. Fused in my kiln, fired a second time on a slump mould.
